Dr. Ehaab Abdou
Dr. Ehaab Abdou is a social entrepreneur who co-founded Nahdet El Mahrousa NGOs in Egypt. Dr. Ehaab worked as a Senior Consultant at the World Bank and an Advisor for the Middle East Youth Initiative at Brookings Institution. He was also an Ashoka Fellow in 2004. Dr. Ehaab earned his master’s degree in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh and obtained his PhD in the History of Education from McGill University.
Khalil El-Masry
Khalil El-Masry is a peace engineer. He co-founded ‘Selmiyah’ (Peacefully) movement promoting culture of peace in Egypt. Khalil also founded ‘Madad’ a social enterprise providing IT support to activists. Khalil is also a member of different peace building and intercultural exchange networks such as MitOst, Caux Scholars Program Alumni, and UN Alliance of Civilization Fellowship Alumni. He also worked as a consultant in different projects promoting co-existence and civic engagement. Currently, he is one of the co-founders of “The Globals”, a new network of global citizens dedicated to foster global transformation.
Moataz Nasr
Egyptian artist Moataz Nasr explores traditions and new globalism, questioning geopolitical and social development in Africa. The artistic practice for Nasr is a tool and a language that embraces art, sociology, Sufism and history in order to encourage dialogue across geographical boundaries. In 2017, he has been selected to represent Egypt during the 57th Venice Biennale. His most recent group shows include the participation to the Yinchuan Biennale, China, curated by Marco Scotini and the participation to the International Contemporary Art Exhibition (ICAE2018), in Yarevan, Armenia, curated by Mazdak Faiznia.
Rapahëlle Ayach
Rapahëlle Ayach is an International Consultant with UNICEF and is the Founder and Director of Safarni. Safarni is engaging underprivileged children in “touch-feel” simulated travel adventures that provide meaningful intercultural interactions with people from other cultures. Under the name of Safarni, which in Arabic means “Allow Me to Travel,” Rapahëlle engages the expatriate community in Egypt, Egyptian university volunteers, facilitators, and local CSOs with underprivileged children using an intercultural curriculum.

Ahmed El Karrany is Head of Inclusive and Creative Economies Program at the British Council in Cairo and Adjunct Professor and Lecturer of Business and Social Entrepreneurship at ESLSCA Business School.
Yasmine Ibrahim
Yasmine Ibrahim founded the Digital Museum of Women to research, highlight, and preserve women’s history in Egypt since the 1800’s, along with providing women with knowledge and tools to be empowered through storytelling. Yasmine Ibrahim is a graduate of the Faculty of Law Cairo University and she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma on the status of women and women’s rights in the MENA region from Lund University in Sweden.

Mohsen Kamal works as a Program Coordinator at Oxfam in Tunisia and has been a civic education consultant for 15 years.
Lina Al Khatib
Lina Al Khatib worked with international agencies such as Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Italian Cooperation as well as local NGOs and enterprises in Egypt. Lina has an MSc in Healthcare Managament from Edinburgh Napier University where she is currently based in Edinburgh.
Sherwet Ahmed
Sherwet Ahmed works as a Program Coordinator at Oxfam International in Egypt. She has been working in development for almost 14 years in a variety of development fields including gender, community development, environmental rights, natural resources, policy setting, advocacy, social entrepreneurship, youth, and civic education.
Nadeen Gamil
Nadeen Gamil is a feminist and a women’s rights’ advocate and her interest in this field is derived from her own personal belief and passion for women’s rights’ and gender equality in order to end all forms of gender discrimination and inequality in Egypt. She was working with Dr. Nawal Al Saadawi since 2011, advocating against societal problems such as sexual harassment, rape, female genital mutilation, and domestic violence.
